Lightroom export for delivery: recommended settings
Deliver full-resolution JPEGs in sRGB at quality 90–100: consistent on screens, ready for print. You do not need separate web-sized exports — here are the exact settings to pick in Lightroom Classic before you upload.

Resize or not: deliver full resolution
Deliver full resolution because clients print. Downsample during export and clients cannot order large prints or zoom in on high-resolution displays — they will come back asking for the originals.
You also do not need to create small web files yourself. When you upload full-resolution photos to shoots.page, 480 px thumbnails and 2000 px web previews generate in the background automatically. Clients browse quickly on mobile and still download the full originals.
Only turn on Resize to Fit when a client explicitly asks for smaller files or local storage is tight. More on the delivery side in sending photos to clients and files and limits.
From Lightroom Classic to a shared gallery
Select photos and open Export
In Lightroom Classic, select your finished photos in the Library or Develop module, then go to File > Export to open the export dialog.
Set file settings and sharpening
Under File Settings choose JPEG, set Color Space to sRGB, and slide Quality to 90–100. Leave Resize to Fit unchecked under Image Sizing. Under Output Sharpening, tick the box, select Sharpen For: Screen, and choose Standard.
Configure file naming
Open File Naming and tick Rename To. Use a clean template such as client name plus sequence number (for example

Pick a destination folder under Export Location and click Export. When Lightroom finishes, open shoots.page in your browser, pick the exported files, and sign in with Google (free account) to start the resumable upload.
Review, publish, share
Review the gallery as your client will see it, publish, and share the single link. The client needs no account to view or download.
Common questions
JPEG or TIFF for client delivery?
Export JPEG in sRGB for client delivery. TIFF is meant for archival masters or further editing between desktop applications, and most clients have no comfortable way to open TIFFs.
What quality number should I choose?
Somewhere between 90 and 100 keeps image data clean without visible compression artifacts. Pushing to 100 grows file size with little visible difference, so 90–95 is a dependable balance for client hand-offs.
Should I watermark on export?
Lightroom Classic has a Watermarking section in the export dialog, and the choice is yours — shoots.page does not add watermarks either. If you want your logo or name on the images, apply it during the Lightroom export.
Can I save these settings as a preset?
Yes. Once your settings are dialed in, click Add at the bottom of the preset list on the left of the Export window. Future client exports then take one click.
