What counts toward storage
Storage is per account and shared by all your galleries. Only the originals you upload count, at their file size. The previews and thumbnails shoots.page makes do not count, and neither do the ZIP files your clients download, because those are built at download time.
Your plan covers the galleries you publish. You can upload a whole shoot and review it first; a gallery goes live when it fits your plan next to your other live galleries. An expired gallery still counts until you switch its link off or delete it. Deleting a gallery frees its space once its files are cleared.
Pricing questions
Is shoots.page free?
Yes. The free plan gives you 2 GB of account storage with every delivery feature included. Pick your files on the homepage and sign in with Google to send; there is nothing to pay.
Do clients pay?
No. Clients never pay and never need an account or app, on either plan. They open your gallery link and download what you allow. If you charge for extra proofing picks, you settle that with your client directly.
Can I pay in euros?
Yes. Visitors in Europe are charged in euros automatically: EUR 8 a month or EUR 80 a year, VAT included. Everyone else pays USD 9 a month or USD 90 a year, plus applicable tax. There is nothing to choose.
What happens if I cancel?
Pro stays until the end of the billing period. After that the account moves back to the free plan: every original is kept and your galleries keep working, but new uploads are blocked while your usage is above 2 GB. Galleries in a Pro design show the Classic design until you return to Pro.
What happens when I hit 2 GB?
You can still upload a whole shoot and review it. When publishing a gallery would take your live galleries past 2 GB, you can move to Pro with 100 GB or remove photos until it fits. Everything already live keeps working for your clients.
Are features limited on free?
Not the delivery features. Free and Pro both include RAW uploads, proofing, passwords, expiry dates and ZIP downloads. Pro adds the 4 gallery designs and 100 GB of storage, and removes the shoots.page logo and link from your galleries.
Can I remove shoots.page branding from my galleries?
Yes, on Pro. Free galleries show a small shoots.page logo at the top and a link for photographers at the bottom. On Pro your galleries show only your studio name. The gallery link itself stays on shoots.page, because custom domains are not offered.
Is there a per-gallery or per-photo limit?
There is no limit on the number of galleries or on photos per gallery; account storage is the only cap. Each file can be up to 1 GiB and 100 megapixels. A larger file fails processing and has to be removed before the gallery can be published.
Do you take a commission on proofing extras?
No. You set a per-photo price for picks above your limit, and your client sees the running total. You collect that money yourself; shoots.page never handles it, so there is nothing to take a cut of.
How do I upgrade to Pro?
Open Studio in the app, choose yearly or monthly billing and check out. Yearly costs USD 90, or EUR 80 in Europe: two months free compared with paying monthly.
