What eats the storage
Storage math comes down to photo count multiplied by average file size. The presets start you with rough estimates — about 8 MB for an exported JPEG and about 25 MB for a RAW file — but real sizes vary with your camera and export settings, so adjust them to match your files.
A few hundred photos add up faster than you might expect: 250 JPEGs at 8 MB each fill 2 GB completely, and RAW files reach that ceiling sooner. Check a real export folder if you want an exact average.
The 2 GB reality
Every shoots.page account includes 2 GB of free storage. That pool is per account and shared across all your galleries, so photos already sitting in active galleries count against your total too.
A 250 GB plan exists in the product, but paid billing is not live yet. For now, plan your uploads within the 2 GB free limit — and clear out galleries you no longer need if a job runs tight.
When splitting the set makes sense
Splitting a large job into a few separate galleries is a normal, sensible way to stay under the free limit. If an event exceeds your space, dividing it into distinct sets lets you deliver everything without running out of room.
It also helps your clients. Recipient galleries show photos 60 per page, so dividing a large collection by part of the day or by theme makes the work easier to browse and download on their side too.
