What your recipient can do without an account

The whole visit, start to finish

  1. Open the link

Your client clicks the unlisted link you sent them and enters the password if you set one.

  2. See the gallery header

They see your gallery title, your studio name, and the gallery expiry date if you scheduled one.

  3. Browse and view

They browse the thumbnail grid 60 images at a time or open photos in the 2000 px preview viewer.

  4. Pick their favorites

If proofing is enabled, they star their preferred photos, check their count against your limits, and send their choices with their name and email.

  5. Download their files

They download individual images or full ZIP archives of byte-for-byte originals or JPEGs, following the options you toggled on.

What still needs an account

You need a free account (using Google sign-in) to create galleries, upload originals, and manage your deliveries. From your account, you control the gallery title, cover photo, password, expiration date, proofing settings, and download toggles. You also use it if you want to revoke access or delete a gallery later. If you start building a gallery before logging in, your draft stays in your browser's IndexedDB and moves into your account once you sign in.

This account is strictly for you as the sender. shoots.page never asks your recipients to register, sign in, or share an account to view or download the photos you deliver.

Common questions

Do my clients need to sign up to download their photos?
No. When you enable downloads, clients download individual files or complete ZIP archives directly from the gallery link without registering.
Can several people open the same link?
Yes. Because access is based on the link and your optional password, anyone your client forwards the link to can view the gallery. You can read more about gallery link access to see how this works.
Does proofing require the client to register?
No. Clients make their selections directly in the viewer and submit their finished list with their name and email address.
What does the free account do, then?
The free owner account gives you 2 GB of storage to upload JPEG, PNG, or RAW files and configure gallery settings like passwords, expiry dates, and download options.
