The sneak-peek play, step by step
Cull and edit a tight highlight set
Back up your cards the night of the wedding, then pull a dozen or two standout frames that outline the whole day. Edit them to your final standard — these are finished photos, not rough proofs — and export them as JPEGs.
Build the gallery on shoots.page
Drop the finished files onto the homepage. They stay local while you name the gallery and set options, and the draft persists across reloads if you step away. Sign in with Google and the resumable upload runs in the background. The whole flow is built for wedding photographers who need work out the door fast.
Send the one link to the couple
Publish and copy the unlisted link. Send it by text or email — anyone with the link can view the photos on any device, no account required. If the couple forwards it to parents or the wedding party, those guests open it directly too.
Deliver the full gallery later
Once the rest of the wedding is edited, deliver the complete collection as its own link. You can retire the highlight page then — revoke, delete or update it any time from the app. The full delivery workflow is in how to send photos to clients.
Edge notes
A sneak peek works well as a temporary showcase. Add an optional password (8–256 characters) if the couple wants extra privacy, or use gallery expiry to retire the preview link automatically once the full collection ships.
One honest limit: shoots.page is not a guest-collection tool. Wedding guests cannot upload their own phone snaps to the gallery — if the couple wants a shared pool of guest candids, that needs a separate tool.
Storage is a non-issue here: a highlight set of high-resolution JPEGs fits easily in the 2 GB of free account storage, the recipient view paginates at 60 photos per page, and originals are kept byte-for-byte.
Common questions
How many photos belong in a sneak peek?
A dozen to two dozen finished photos is a good working range — enough to cover the ceremony, portraits and early reception highlights without spending your whole turnaround editing.
Does the couple need an account?
No. Anyone with the gallery link can view the images immediately; if you set a password, they enter it once. No accounts or app installs for recipients, ever.
Can guests upload their own photos to the gallery?
No. Only the account owner uploads to a gallery. If the couple wants to crowdsource guest photos, they will need a separate group-sharing tool for that.
Should the full wedding go on the sneak-peek link later?
Send the full gallery as its own fresh link — it keeps the highlight set clean and fast to browse. Both galleries are managed independently from the app.
