shoots.page accepts HEIC as it is, so iPhone photos need no conversion before you upload. If another destination needs JPEG, set Settings > Camera > Formats to Most Compatible for new shots; for existing ones, open them in Photos or Preview on a Mac, choose File > Export and pick JPEG.

What your client downloads
Upload iPhone photos as they are. The gallery shows each HEIC photo as a JPEG preview, and clients download the original HEIC file, byte for byte, or the 2000 px JPEG preview if you allow JPEG downloads.
Convert first when the full-size files are headed somewhere that only opens JPEG, such as a Windows PC without Microsoft's HEIC extensions. The steps below cover that.

For photos you haven't taken yet
Under Apple's recommended High Efficiency setting, iPhones capture photos as HEIF (HEIC) files. To save future shots as JPEGs instead, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap Camera, tap Formats, and select Most Compatible. New photos then save as JPEG and new videos as H.264. Photos you already took stay HEIC.
Convert HEIC photos already on your iPhone
The iPhone share sheet has a format option. Select the photos in the Photos app, tap Share, tap Options and choose Most Compatible. Apple says files may then convert to JPEG, so check the file type afterwards.
Moving photos to a computer over a cable can convert them too. Apple says HEIF photos imported from an iPhone into Photos, Image Capture or a PC might be converted to JPEG, unless Keep Originals is selected under Settings > Apps > Photos.
Convert on a Mac
On a Mac, open the Photos app and highlight the images you want to convert. Select File > Export > Export [number] Photos, set the Photo Kind option to JPEG, and complete the export. Avoid selecting "Export Unmodified Original", as that keeps the original HEIC file instead of converting it. For a HEIC file outside your library, open it in Preview, choose File > Export and pick JPEG from the Format menu.

Do I need to convert HEIC photos before uploading to shoots.page?

Does converting HEIC to JPEG lose quality?

How do I stop my iPhone shooting HEIC in the first place?
Open Settings on your iPhone and tap Camera. Go to Formats and select Most Compatible. Your iPhone will now save all future photos as JPEGs.
Can I open HEIC files on Windows?
Yes, after installing two Microsoft Store packages: the free HEIF Image Extensions and the paid HEVC Video Extensions, which Microsoft says must be installed to view .heic files. To skip that, convert the photos on the iPhone or a Mac first.
