What Zno Gallery covers
Zno Gallery is the client gallery product of Zno. Clients can mark favorites and leave notes, download single photos or whole galleries, and buy from an eStore that takes 0% commission on every plan. It also shares video, offers face search so guests can find their own photos, and connects to Lightroom. Paid gallery plans get 25% off Zno print products.
The free plan question
Zno's free plan gives you 1 GB of photo storage and 30 minutes of video, with no credit card needed. It leaves out full-resolution downloads, custom watermarks and a custom domain, and Zno branding stays on your galleries. Full-resolution downloads start on Basic at $6 a month billed annually, or $8 month to month, for 15 GB.
shoots.page Free gives you 2 GB, roughly 250 exported JPEGs at about 8 MB each, with every delivery feature on: byte-for-byte originals, full-size JPEGs made from RAW files, 2000 px JPEGs and ZIP downloads. Be fair about the bigger plans, though: Zno Standard gives 150 GB for $12 a month billed annually, more than the 100 GB on shoots.page Pro for USD 9 a month or USD 90 a year, and Zno Pro gives 2,000 GB for $18.
Where Zno Gallery clearly wins
- An eStore with 0% commission on every plan, and 25% off Zno print products on paid plans.
- Video in the same gallery: 30 minutes on Free, up to 5 hours on Pro.
- Face search, so event guests can find photos of themselves.
- Lightroom integration for uploading collections.
- Download controls: PINs, size limits, a cap on total downloads, or downloads only for client emails you add.
- Much more storage per dollar on the larger plans: 150 GB for $12 and 2,000 GB for $18 a month billed annually.
Where shoots.page fits
- Full-size originals on the free plan, singly or as a ZIP; Zno starts full-resolution downloads at $6 a month.
- Clients open one link and download without an account, an app or an email sign-up.
- JPEG, PNG, HEIC, TIFF, WebP and camera RAW files; RAW files go out as full-size JPEGs, or untouched when you switch RAW downloads on.
- Proofing with a pick limit and an optional price per extra photo; clients submit picks with their name and email, and you settle any payment yourself.
- Only uploaded files count toward storage; previews and JPEGs made from RAW files do not.
- No limit on galleries or photos per gallery.
Using both
Zno Gallery suits sessions where clients buy prints or need video. A plain shoots.page link suits jobs where the client only wants the files, RAWs included, with no store in between. Both have free plans, so upload the same set to each and compare what your client sees.
