Answer: 12 to 100+ edited photos

How many photos for a 2-hour shoot?

Published 2-hour packages deliver 12 to 100+ edited photos, and shoots.page sends either end of that range as one link. Fully retouched sets hold 12 to 40; sets that are edited but not retouched frame by frame run from 25+ to 100+, about 0.2 to 0.8 GB at 8 MB per JPEG.

What published packages say

William Petruzzo of Petruzzo Photography puts his studio at between 20 and 60 finished images per hour, per photographer, which comes to 40 to 120 over two hours. Packages that retouch every frame stay smaller: Bradley Banner includes 12 professionally retouched images in a 2-hour personal brand session, Soul Focus Studios 20 retouched, micahecru.com 20 edited, Tiffany Michelle 20 to 30, Stacie Stine 30 and Mackenzie LaRoe 40 retouched images of the client's choice.

Sessions built for variety deliver more. Kandid Clicks Photography includes 25+ fully edited images in a 2-hour outdoor engagement session and Janessa-Nicole 25+ in a 2-hour branding shoot. Leslie Fox Photography includes 50 to 75 edited images for up to 2 hours of brand photography, Photoshoot Rome 80, Lovisa Photo 80+ and Catherine Huliganga 100+ for a 2-hour engagement session.

Published counts for a 2-hour session

Here is how published 2-hour packages compare across session styles, estimated file sizes at about 8 MB per JPEG, and how each fits the free 2 GB.

Sizes are estimates at about 8 MB per exported JPEG: 250 photos fill the free 2 GB, and Pro's 100 GB holds about 12,500.

What drives the number

How to deliver it

  1. Upload the finished set

Upload the finished JPEGs to a new gallery on shoots.page and review it before publishing. The storage limit only applies when you publish, so the whole shoot can sit in a draft first.

  2. Enable proofing if the client chooses

If your package includes 20 or 40 retouched frames, turn on proofing and set the pick limit to match your contract. Clients pick their favorites directly in the gallery, with the option to select paid extras at a per-photo price you control.

  3. Publish and share a single link

Publishing generates an unlisted gallery link with 2000 px previews that opens in any browser. There are no client accounts, passwords are optional, and visitors never need to install an app.

  4. Let the client download everything

Clients can download the entire finished collection byte for byte with ZIP downloads or save individual originals one at a time. At about 8 MB per JPEG, a 40-photo set takes roughly 0.32 GB, while 100 photos take about 0.8 GB.

Common questions

Why do some 2-hour sessions deliver only 12 photos?

Because every frame is retouched. Bradley Banner's 2-hour personal brand package includes 12 professionally retouched images from up to three or four styled looks, with a 10-day turnaround. Soul Focus Studios includes 20 retouched images for up to 2 hours.

Should more outfits mean more photos?

Not on their own. Bradley Banner's three or four looks produce 12 retouched images, while Lovisa Photo's three to four outfits produce 80+ images. Outfits add variety; the editing depth sets the count.

How does the client pick which images get retouched?

Upload the proofs to shoots.page and turn on proofing. Set the maximum picks to the package count, such as the 40 retouched images of the client's choice in Mackenzie LaRoe's branding package. The client stars favorites with a live count, submits with a name and email, and you retouch the submitted picks. See delivery vs proofing.

Is 50 photos enough for a 2-hour brand session?

It sits inside the published range. Leslie Fox Photography includes 50 to 75 edited images for up to 2 hours of brand photography, Lovisa Photo 80+ for 2 hours and Soul Focus Studios 20 retouched images. At about 8 MB per JPEG, 50 photos take 0.4 GB. See shoots.page for brand photographers.

Can my client download everything at once?

Yes. Clients download all originals at once as one ZIP in the browser, or single files one at a time. Original downloads are on by default, arrive byte for byte and need no account.

Deliver your next 2-hour gallery

Upload the set to shoots.page, turn on proofing if the client picks the frames to retouch, and send one link. At 8 MB per JPEG, a set of up to 120 photos takes under 1 GB of the free 2 GB.
