Pass Gallery link not working?

Pass+ gallery links stop working after 31 October 2026 unless you migrated to Pic-Time; shoots.page gets your client a working link today, free up to 2 GB with no client account. Why the link stopped working

Pass's Migration FAQ says that if you don't migrate, galleries hosted on Pass stop being accessible after 31 October 2026. A client who opens an old link to one of those galleries hits that wall. If you did migrate, old Pass links redirect to your galleries on Pic-Time, but only for as long as those galleries stay live on Pic-Time.

Pass has not said that unmigrated galleries come back online, and it permanently deletes all remaining data on 31 December 2026. The fastest fix is usually not on Pass at all: put the photos in a new gallery and send your client a new link.

What to check first

Send a working link today

  1. Find the finished files

Use the exported photos from your own archive or backup drive. They are your originals; a Pass download is the copy the Pass+ Uploader recompressed, unless support switched its optimizer off.

  2. Create a gallery on shoots.page

Upload the set. The free plan holds 2 GB, about 250 exported JPEGs at 8 MB each, and Pro holds 100 GB for USD 9 a month.

  3. Set access if you want it

Add an optional password and an optional expiry date. You can revoke or delete the link at any time.

  4. Send the new link

The client opens it, browses and downloads the originals with no sign-up. The message below explains the change in a few lines.

What to tell your clients

Copy this, fill in the brackets and send it to every client with an old Pass link.

Hi [name],

Pass, the service that hosted your photo gallery, has closed, so your old gallery link no longer opens.

Your photos are in a new gallery here:
[new gallery link]

You can view and download everything without creating an account. [Password: ...]

Save the photos to your own computer or phone as well, so you always have a copy.

If you no longer have the files

Pass asks photographers who are not migrating to download their galleries before 31 October 2026, and our guide to downloading photos from Pass Gallery walks through its steps. Pass does not say whether downloads work after that date, so if you missed it, ask help@passgallery.com about the specific gallery straight away. Ask the client too: anyone who downloaded the gallery while it was open may still have a full copy.

Common questions

My client says the Pass link is broken. What happened?
Galleries hosted on Pass stop being accessible after 31 October 2026 unless they were migrated to Pic-Time. If you did not migrate, the old link no longer opens and you need to send a new one.
Will Pass bring the gallery back?
Pass has not said it will. Its FAQ says unmigrated galleries stop being accessible after 31 October 2026 and all remaining data is permanently deleted on 31 December 2026. For a specific gallery, ask help@passgallery.com.
I migrated. Why does the link still fail?
The redirect from an old Pass link only lasts while the gallery stays live on Pic-Time, so check that it is still online in your Pic-Time account.
Can my client still download from Pass?
Not from a gallery that was not migrated: it is no longer accessible after 31 October 2026. Deliver the files from your own archive with a new link.
Is the new shoots.page link free for my client?
Yes. Clients never pay and never need an account to view or download a shoots.page gallery.
