What the checker tells you
Pick any image to see its file name, size, format and pixel dimensions. The checker reads the file locally and tells you whether it matches the formats shoots.page accepts: JPEG, PNG and RAW.
Your photo never leaves the device — you could disconnect from the internet and the tool would still work. And when you do upload to shoots.page later, originals are stored byte-for-byte: downloads are exactly the bytes you uploaded.
RAW files and the dimension blank
If you pick a RAW photo, the pixel dimensions will likely show as unavailable. That is normal and says nothing bad about the file — most browsers simply cannot decode camera RAW formats locally.
shoots.page handles RAW on the server with LibRaw, so most camera RAW formats work; CR2, NEF and DNG are the verified ones. RAW sources process up to 1 GiB and 80 MP.
The HEIC exception
shoots.page does not accept HEIC or HEIF files, and video is not supported either. If your phone saves in HEIC, convert to JPEG first — the HEIC preparation guide walks through it.
