Lindsay Renee's $400 mini includes a phone or in-person consultation, 1 outfit, 20 minutes at one location, an online gallery and 10 edited high-resolution images of your choice, for up to 5 people from one immediate family. The Memory Hollow's $250 mini covers a 20-minute session built around a seasonal theme, at least 30 edited images, a private online gallery with unlimited downloads and a personal print release.

What changes from one photographer to the next
Preparation varies. Lindsay Renee includes a consultation on outfits, styling and location and keeps minis to immediate family. A 2026 Carlsbad, California listing on the booking site Session pairs 15 minutes and 15 digital images of the client's choice with a style guide, for $325. Heather Hall Photography in Dallas runs 10-minute sessions with 5 edited images, announces the exact location 3 days before and delivers within 3 weeks.
Upgrades and prints vary even more. Devin Desjarlais sells extra images at $10 each or the full gallery of 25 or more for $100, and Lindsay Renee charges $20 per extra image. The Carlsbad listing puts the full gallery of at least 35 images in a $425 package, and buying the gallery after receiving it costs $175. Rachel Stelter Photography's 2026 holiday mini price list sells collections at $400, $590 and $990 that bundle high-resolution digitals with print discounts, two of them with matted prints, and charges $75 for each digital added to a collection. Spell it out before anyone books
ShootRate's four offer essentials: state the session time as a hard limit ("20 minutes per slot, no extensions"), give the image count as a number, use a real booking deadline and build the upgrade path to a full session into the offer. Put all of it on the booking page so nobody finds out what they bought after the gallery arrives.
How the online gallery part works on shoots.page
Each family gets one shoots.page gallery link. They open it in a browser with no account or app, see 2000 px previews and download the originals byte for byte, one at a time or as one ZIP. If the package lets the client choose, turn on proofing: set max picks to the included count and a per-photo price for extras, and the family stars favorites against a live counter and running price, then submits with name and email. Add a password or an expiry date per gallery, and see an example portrait gallery for the client view.
Know the limits. shoots.page has no booking, contracts or payments, so you collect for slots and extras yourself, and it has no print store: if your package includes prints or print credits, order them from your own lab. Storage is the only cap; at about 8 MB per exported JPEG, a 10-photo gallery is about 80 MB, and the free 2 GB holds about 250 such JPEGs across your published galleries.
